Statement

I create mixed media abstract paintings that explore emotion, movement, and transformation. Working with acrylic and resin on wood panel and canvas, I build layered surfaces where colour and texture interact in dynamic and often unexpected ways.

Often working at a large scale, I allow gesture and material to fully unfold across the surface, creating pieces with strong visual presence. I also produce smaller works and multi-panel compositions, offering varied rhythms and spatial experiences suited to different environments.

Each painting begins intuitively, guided by colour and mood. Layers are poured, manipulated, and sometimes scraped back entirely before being rebuilt. This balance between control and chance gives every piece its own distinct energy.

Though abstract, the work is grounded in feeling rather than concept.  I invite viewers to form their own personal connections — discovering atmosphere, memory, or emotion within the layers.
